What gets looked at
Access for materials and skips, ground levels, drainage runs and manhole positions, which walls are likely structural, the age and condition of services, and how the new work ties into the existing house.
Useful things to have ready
Any drawings or supplier plans, a rough idea of budget range, and a list of what matters most to you — those three make the conversation far more productive.
