Refurbishments & Other Building Services
Bathrooms, plastering, joinery, alterations and full house refurbs — the everyday building work that keeps a home fit for the way you actually live in it.
Not every job is a full extension. A lot of our work is the everyday building work that transforms how a house feels to live in — a proper new bathroom, taking down a wall between two poky rooms, plastering the whole downstairs, or a full house refurb after buying a tired property.
We take on the same "manage-the-whole-thing" approach as we do for extensions. One team, one point of contact, one contract — whether the job is two weeks or two months.

What to think about before you start.
Scope creep
Once you start pulling up floors and taking down plaster, you often find things you didn't expect. We agree upfront how variations are handled so you're not surprised by the bill.
Living in the house
For bigger refurbs, we plan the sequence around the rooms you need to keep usable. For whole-house refurbs, sometimes it's easier to move out for the busiest phase.
Old properties
Older Warrington homes often have surprises — solid walls, redundant chimneys, old wiring. We're used to working with them and pricing sensibly.
Coordinating trades
A refurb is really a coordination job — electrics before plaster, plaster before flooring, flooring before skirting. Getting the sequence right is where a proper builder earns their keep.
Our process, from first call to handover.
- 01
Walk-through
We go through the property room by room and talk about what you want done and what's realistic.
- 02
Quote
You get a written quote broken down by area or trade so you can see where the money goes.
- 03
Sequenced works
We plan the works in the right order and keep you informed as we go.
- 04
Snag & handover
At the end, we walk through the finished job and sort any snags before we're done.
The style and finish we aim for.

Common questions.
Do you take on smaller jobs too?
We prioritise larger residential projects because that's what we do best, but we do take on smaller jobs where it makes sense — especially for existing clients or nearby homeowners.
Can you help with insurance repair work?
Yes, we've handled repair works following escape of water and similar events. We can liaise with your insurer's loss adjuster where needed.
Do you do bathrooms?
Yes — full bathroom refits including strip-out, plumbing, tiling and fit-out. See our bathroom examples in the gallery.
